Lately life has been... interesting? Doctor's appointments, job changes, job testing (for Adam), day road trips, and convention applications galore! Some days have been a little overwhelming to say the least. I find I just need to step back, breathe, and then look at all the good things around me and right in front of me.
I have been slowly filling up my calendar for March and April... conventions, day trips, movie dates, board game nights, etc. I'm planning a day to visit the One of a Kind Show in Toronto at the end of the month. My friend Heather, of Needlings, will be in the Etsy section and I'm excited to visit her and check out the rest of the show. I'm hoping to be filled with inspiration and maybe find a gift or two for some Spring birthdays.
Me and Adam also have another Sudbury day trip planned for the second part of his job testing. I actually enjoy the drive up North. The highway is clear and traffic-free and it gives us time to listen to music, talk and eat car snacks! When I'm in the passenger seat I spend a lot of time searching for deer and moose along the highway as well (I've spotted both now going up there!).
One of the things I'm looking forward to the most though? March 20 - the first day of Spring! I'm hoping we get some sunny, semi-warm days. I want to go outside and have the sunshine lift my mood and re-energize me.
And just because this makes me smile, I'm sharing it with you....
My love of marshmallows and cats all rolled into one!
