Last weekend was the Waterdown Artisan and Craft Show. There were a lot of talented vendors at this show and I was lucky enough to be seated right beside my friend Heather of Needlings. There was a good amount of traffic throughout the day. I sold quite a few kitty toys and some pouches, but sales were not as good as I had hoped for. It was a great day though. I had fun talking to the other vendors and some of the little kids and babies at the show were pretty adorable and entertaining to talk to, like the young girl who thought my X-Men headband was Batman. I still don't know how she mistook Wolverine or Cyclops for Batman.... I was very happy to have Heather to talk with and stay caffeinated with all day.
My next show, James North Art Crawl, will be next Friday, October 12th. I'm working on some new pillowcases to have for this show and hopefully I can finish a few more kitty kickers too.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me since it is Thanksgiving here for us. Even if you're not eating turkey this weekend, have a wonderful weekend!
